The Digital Video Production Associate of Arts program at Collins College prepares students to create compelling stories with digital video. Students learn all the stages that go into creating digital videos, including the ins and outs of pre-production, post-production, and non-linear editing. Curriculum includes classes in Cinema History, Photography, Audio Production, Digital Editing, and 2D and 3D Animation. Students will develop a portfolio of work, which can serve as a valuable tool when applying for jobs.
The Bachelor of Arts in Film & Video Production program at Collins College is designed to teach students the ins and outs of screenwriting, non-linear editing, lighting, and audio. Our Film & Video Production degree program will also introduce students to the formatting differences between HDTV, film, and digital video processes and equipment. Graduates can be qualified for entry-level positions as Film Editors, Digital Video Editors, Multimedia Artists, Video Producers, and more.
Learn to create video games with the Bachelor of Arts in Game Design degree program at Collins College. In addition to learning level design, modeling, programming, and project management, students learn about game research, game planning, content development, character development, and storytelling. The Game Design degree program also develops key C++©, Java™, 3ds max® and AI (Artificial Intelligence) skills.
Collins College offers an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design.
Our Associate of Arts in Graphic Design degree program gives students the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to succeed in entry-level graphic design positions. Students learn to combine aesthetics and function as they develop traditional and computer-based applications.
Students in our Graphic Design Bachelor of Arts program gain valuable real-world training as they learn about communication, commerce and art, digital production, art direction, visual problem solving, and more. Graduates will be prepared to enter careers as graphic designers, publication designers, production artists, web designers, and art directors.
The Bachelor of Arts in Game Art degree program at Collins College is designed to give students the skills, training, and knowledge needed to create video game characters and storylines. Curriculum includes classes in Creative Visualization, Audio for Gaming, Game Design Project Management, and more. Graduates may go on to become Game Designers, Environmental Artists, Prop Artists, Video Editors, Web Designers, and more.
Collins College's Interior Design Bachelor of Arts program will give students the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to successfully transform public and personal spaces into functional and enjoyable environments. Students study Drafting, Textiles, and more as they experiment with the elements and principles of color, light, form, balance, texture, proportion, and scale. Students are prepared for entry-level opportunities in residential, commercial, or hospitality interior design industry.
Collins College offers an Associate of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
The Information Technology Associate of Science program at Collins College gives students the basic skills and knowledge needed to work in the IT arena. Students learn personal computer and local area network setup, configuration, diagnosis, repair, and more. They also receive valuable hands-on training installing, configuring, and managing a variety of operating system software and applications software.
Our Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree program trains students in network design and administration; wireless technologies; computer and local area network setup, configuration, diagnosis and repair; and more. Graduates can be prepared for entry-level work as Computer Support Specialists, Information Systems Managers, Local Area Network Engineers, Systems Administrators, and more.
